Where Does Time Go?

Just seems like yesterday
that we packed up
the family and headed
to Summit Hospital
to bring home
our newest member
of our family.
Bobbi and John
were so excited to meet
their new sister....
couldn't wait to hold her... couldn't wait to see
who she looked like. However, it wasn't yesterday!
It was two years ago!
How can time pass so quickly
that you wake up to realize
another year has passes.

It is amazing that
two short years ago
she was so small...
so sweet...
precious!
From finding her sweet toes!

To sitting up on her own...

Those sweet pig tails
and learning to crawl!

To walking, talking, and playing in my pans!
It has been a jouney...
Today she is two. Terrific two!
She loves to "Cheese" for pictures!
She loves Oswald, babies, books, and hair bows. To watch her dance is such a joy. How much I enjoy our time together....I wish they could stay little forever.

So Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday my sweet AnnaBeth!
Happy 2nd Birthday to you!
and many God bless you with many more!

Halloween Fun!

As a mom, I often want my kids to be cute and match,
especially on Halloween.
My Brew has a different opinion, it shows in their costumes.
In a recent trip to the zoo, my animal lover, Bobbi purchased this African Wild Dog.
It has become her new best friend.
This Halloween, she decided to be an African Wild Dog!
If you have ever searched for a Halloween costume for a teen,
you would be proud your daughter picked a wild dog!
She was so cute, very Bobbi!
John, my cool son, had a very hard time finding a costume that fits his "Coolness"
Of course, Batman is still cool, but taking a picture isn't!

Unless your little sister is involved!
Then, after everyone was dressed he finally saw things my way.
Then, he proclaimed that Anna could of been "BAT GIRL" ,
the car could be "The Bat Mobile" ,
and Bobbi could of been "Cat Women" !

However, Annie, as she calls herself, decided to be a Sugar Plum Princess.
Perfect choice, very Anna Beth!

Trick or Treating was so much fun!

Anna couldn't wait to knock on the door.

It took her about 3 seconds to realize candy came
when she smiled and said, "Trick or Treat!"
It was a great time!

A Family Vacation

A Family Vacation to the beach....what a great time! 10/08

The children could not wait to get into the water and sand! What started as a walk along the shore quickly changed into children waist deep in the waves....digging in the sand...and experiencing the beach for the first time!

On the Destin Dock John found, "HIS BOAT" , BIG JOHN!

The pool was a place of great joy and excitement....

Anna loved everything, she didn't know what to play first!

You could see all four pools from our room, all they wanted to do is swim!
The children loved playing in the small pool with the boat slide. Anna was unsure of it at first, but with Bubba and Sissy she was willing to try anything! Slide more, mommy...please!

Look out Bobbi here we come.....

Then the beach...

Bobbi, John, and Anna spent all day Thursday at the beach...digging, wave riding, finding treasures in the sand and catching crabs it was tons of fun!

John took Anna to the water to show her the CRABS they had caught!
Look at cheezy, she thought she was a BIG kid!
Bobbi says the ocean is her favorite place.
It has two of her favorite things, sand and water!
Anna didn't like the ocean...the sand moving under her feet and waves freaked her out!
The Beach....that was a different story! She loved the sand and the sun!
John was unsure about the ocean, Jaws maybe had something to do with that!
He enjoyed staying in the shallow riding waves and catching critters.
FISHING FUN!
Rick went on the Destin Princess to fish!
He caught several snapper, a trigger fish, and more.
They were yummy smothered in butter and baked in the oven!
Rick took the family on Little Nemo, a family fishing boat.
The kids were catching Lizard Fish....they look just like lizards without feet, weird!
Bobbi enjoyed driving the boat in open water...John said it was lame!
Yes, it was a large boat and Anna was the only person with a life jacket on. I am a freak!
Then we went to a Go Cart family fun place!
Anna and John rode the plane.
John wanted to drive the go carts but it seems
he was vertically challenaged, so they would not permit it....
Wonderful Dad took him on a dune buggy ride instead!
"It was awesome".
All I wanted was a picture of the family on the beach,
All they wanted was to run wild down the shore!
This is what I got....perfect in it's own way!
All Anna wanted was to dig in the sand!
All Dad wanted was to get the car loaded and head home.

She would follow him anywhere......
