2008, A year in review!

2008, Eat My Dust!

What a great year of adventures!

The year began with Baseball...

and it continued through the entire summer.

John played 7&8 year old coach pitch for Buchanan Rec.

His love for baseball never wavered..

.he loves to play and especially win!

Anna's first two words together were " play ball".

It is safe to say, I spent all of 2008

chasing an one year old around a ball field.

She learned that at the concession stand

you can get popcorn, M&M's, and Freezy Pops!

Yum, Yum!

I learned...to save my quarters!

After a long season, I am proud to say that

our Hornets finished a record season!

UNDEFEATED

But more than that they were a TEAM that worked together,

friends and team mates.

John learned that he wasn't the best,

but when you work as a team, you can be the BEST!

Bobbi had a BIG year...she turned 13!

I have had to learn to allow her to be her!

It is safe to say....Bobbi is one of a kind.

She had a great trip to Savannah

with her Girl Scout Troop.

Bobbi loved the beach and the ocean.

She says, "It's her favorite place."

After a long year at the ball field,

Fall Break we escaped to Destin, FL for much need R&R.

Sitting beneath my umbrella, out of the sun,

I watched my family play in the surf and sand.

It was there in my chair that I realized what a moment that was.
Our family, all together! How did I receive such precious gifts?

How did I deserve such a sweet life?

A husband that loves me

Children that are just spectacular?

Often people play the lottery to win it big!

I already have it all!!!!

So...

In 2009, I plan to

Laugh, a lot

Love every moment!

and

Live each day to the fullest!

Everyday is about them...my treasures!

How did I get so RICH?
